Sam Zbikowski
Owner/Advanced Esthetician
Sam Zbikowski is a Board Certified Advanced Esthetician, brow and lash specialist, and the heart behind Dahlia Beauty Bar and Dahlia Skincare. She’s been practicing since 2015, offering a grounded and holistic approach to beauty that blends science, plant wisdom, and intention.
Her philosophy is simple: care for the skin gently, intentionally, and in rhythm with nature. Each facial or brow treatment with Sam is thoughtfully crafted using high-quality, non-toxic products—like Botnia, LILFOX, and her own line, Dahlia Skincare. No two treatments are ever the same; she designs each experience based on the unique needs of the individual, often incorporating intuitive techniques like gua sha, facial cupping, and lymphatic flow work. Whether it’s building custom skincare routines or mapping brows with precision, Sam’s goal is always the same: to help people feel confident, seen, and at ease in their own skin.
Dahlia was born from her vision of a warm, earthy space where self-care feels sacred, and community feels like home. Inspired by the sun-loving dahlia flower, native to Mexico and deeply symbolic in her heritage, the brand honors individuality, ancestral wisdom, and the beautiful connection between the natural world and our skin.
Outside the treatment room, Sam is most likely hanging out with her lover, Erik and their two rescue pitbulls, Carlos and Lola. She’s also a dedicated caretaker to a small jungle of frogs and geckos, a lifelong nature lover, and a passionate advocate for animals and the earth.
Emma Salazar
Advanced Esthetician
Emma (also known as Em or Emmy) is a licensed Advanced Esthetician with 7 years of experience in the beauty industry. She specializes in Brow Artistry, Holistic Skincare, and Lash Lifting.
Emma has been a vital part of the Dahlia Beauty Bar team for nearly four years. Her clients are instantly welcomed by her calming presence and the tranquil atmosphere of the shop — where incense fills the air, a soft fountain trickles in the background, and the space is filled with warm, cozy energy.
She began her career at Benefit Brow Bar, where she honed her skills in brow shaping for three years and developed a deep passion for helping others achieve their dream brows. Since joining Dahlia, Emma has expanded her expertise into holistic skincare. She believes in the power of plants, simple yet effective routines, and the connection between mind, body, and skin. Her philosophy blends organic beauty with lifestyle-based healing, offering clients a deeper and more intentional path to glowing skin.
Emma is known for putting client comfort first and creating experiences rooted in self-love, intentional beauty, and personalized care.
Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys yoga, pilates, baking, all forms of art, music, video games, and cozy moments with her husband, Ryan, and their two cats. She also loves nature walks, reading, coffee shop visits, thrifting, and watching classic Hollywood films.
